7th Pay Commission: Special allowances declared for soldiers

New Delhi: After months of deliberations, the Ministry of Defense has approved a list of items which every soldier has to purchase from the annual clothing allowance of Rs. 10,000.

He said that the allowance of clothing was recommended by the Seventh Pay Commission, which was made available through the factories of the first personnel.

The soldiers and junior commission officials (JCOs) now have to buy clothes items like anchor, belt, badge, ribbon, chevron and formation mark using clothing accessories, shirt angola, woolen jersey, Mufti costumes and clothing allowances, army Will happen. Tomorrow, Defense Minister Nirmala Sitharaman finally approved the list of items which will now be approved by the allowance of clothes by each soldier.
Sources said that fighter dress, physical fitness training kit as well as all the other clothes, all the soldiers of military stores will be released as authorized items, along with newly introduced good physical training (PT) shoes.

During recruitment training, additional clothes will also be available during recruitment training.

The items supplied to soldiers from Army soldiers include blankets, ground sheets, raincoats, mosquito nets etc.

Sources said that soldiers deployed in Siachen, super high altitude and extreme cold climate areas will be released according to current procedures like special clothing.

An army officer said, "The dress allowance fulfills the long-term aspiration of those soldiers who wanted to sew well and fit well."

The Seventh Pay Commission recommended the allowances of clothing on the basis of feedback on the quality of feedback and improper fittings from soldiers.

Sources said, therefore, it was decided that the provision of dress materials and soldiers will be allowed to sew in accordance with their personal fitness.
